Welcome to the Town of Stanfield
To establish new water and sewer utility services at your property, please follow the steps outlined below. Ensure all information is accurate to avoid delays in processing your request.
Step 1: Complete the Application
All residents utilizing municipal services must have an active Application for Service on file. You can complete this requirement through one of the following methods:
- Digital Form: Complete the Water and Sewer Service Application online.
- In Person: Visit Stanfield Town Hall to fill out a paper application.
Step 2: Pay the Security Deposit
A mandatory security deposit is required before utility services can be activated. These deposits are refundable upon termination of service.

Payment Methods
You may submit your deposit via the following:
- Online: Visit the payment portal.
- By Phone: Call Town Hall at (704) 888-2386 to process a payment.
- In Person: Drop by Town Hall to pay via cash, check, or card.
Step 3: Choose Your Billing Preference
During setup, you can select how you wish to receive your monthly statements:
- Paperless Email Billing: A statement is sent directly to your provided email address.
- Standard Postal Mail: A physical bill is mailed to your service or mailing address.
Terms and Conditions
- Payment Deadline: Monthly bills must be paid no later than the 20th of each month.
- Late Fees: A 10% late charge will be added to accounts not paid by the 20th.
- Disconnection: Any account with a balance of $50.00 or more past due is subject to service disconnection.
- Automatic Payments: You may set up a Bank Draft (processed on the 10th with no fee) or a Credit Card Auto-pay (processed on the 15th with a 2% fee) by calling Town Hall.

After Hours Water/Sewer Emergencies
For after-hours or weekend water or sewer emergency, please call Town Hall at 704-888-2386 and listen for the on-call contact. Examples of after-hour or weekend emergencies include water main breaks or sewer back-ups.
