Utilities

The Town of Stanfield provides water distribution and sewer collection service where available to town residents. New taps require a water and/or sewer tap on fee and application for service. Requests for new service should be made at Stanfield Town Hall located at 103 West Stanly Street. Water/Sewer bills are generally mailed by the last working day of the month and are due on the 20th of the following month. A 10% late fee is assessed after the 20th of the month. Payments may be made by phone or at the Stanfield Town Hall or mailed to:

For after-hours or weekend water or sewer emergency, please call Town Hall at 704-888-2386 and listen for the on-call contact. Examples of after-hour or weekend emergencies include water main breaks or sewer back-ups.

DRUG ARREST 05/24/2020
On 5/24/2020 at approximately 3:30 am while on patrol, a Stanfield Officer observed a suspicious vehicle in one of our neighborhoods. The officer made contact which resulted in an investigation that led to the discovery of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. Evidence indicates the methamphetamine was possessed with the intent to sale.

Kelsey Mayers was charged with:
PWIMSD Methamphetamine
Possession of drug paraphernalia
She was booked into the Stanly County Jail under a $5,000 secured bond
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court

Hollar is believed to be accompanied by a 3 year old juvenile. Tammy Hollar has multiple outstanding felony arrest warrants as well as a warrant for Child Abuse. If you see her call 911 do not attempt to approach or apprehend her yourself. Hollar is approximately 5'2" and between 90-100 lbs. messages sent to our Facebook page will remain anonymous. Thank you

DRUG BUST 05/13/2020
On May 13th, The Stanfield Police Department with the assistance of The Locust Police Department, and Stanly County Sheriff's Office, executed a search warrant at 103 Hill Top Ave in Stanfield NC. During the search multiple types of illegal drugs were found.

Patti Hollar is being held on a $25,000 secured bond at the Stanly County Jail

Megan M. Mills was arrested at the residence for outstanding arrest warrants she is being held on a $52,000 secured bond at Stanly County Jail

The Child abuse charges resulted from extremely dangerous drugs being located in areas of the home where small children who were present could have easily accessed them.
