Utilities

The Town of Stanfield provides water distribution and sewer collection service where available to town residents. New taps require a water and/or sewer tap on fee and application for service. Requests for new service should be made at Stanfield Town Hall located at 103 West Stanly Street. Water/Sewer bills are generally mailed by the last working day of the month and are due on the 20th of the following month. A 10% late fee is assessed after the 20th of the month. Payments may be made by phone or at the Stanfield Town Hall or mailed to:

For after-hours or weekend water or sewer emergency, please contact personnel on call at 704-254-3211. Examples of after-hour or weekend emergencies include water main breaks or sewer back-ups.

Love Chapel at Highway 200 it's completely shut down do to power lines in the road.
Please if it all possible stay home and do not attempt to drive on the roads. We have several incidents already where people have left their homes and the way back is now blocked.

WEATHER UPDATE
We just lost power at the Stanfield Police Department. We assume other local residents have lost power. We will notify the the power company. There is a tree and power line down at HWY 200 near Willow Creek Dr. This is likely the cause.

Stanfield Police Department

The roads in Stanfield and surrounding areas are already becoming difficult to pass. What we are seeing so far is sleet and freezing rain which is making the roads slick. Then followed by rain which briefly melts the ice. This is dangerous because it gives the illusion the roads are safe but it quickly gets slick again when it turns to sleet once more. I had trouble in my all wheel drive SUV this morning on HWY 200. I began sliding several times. PLEASE stay home and off the roads.
