River Rd. between S. Love Chapel Rd. and Renee Ford Rd. remains closed due to damage from the recent flooding. The roadway appears intact on initial appearance but the earth below the road surface has been washed away and the asphalt is starting to crumble. The road could collapse under the weight of a passing vehicle.

There is evidence that some motorists have been driving around the barricades on the shoulder and crossing the damaged section of roadway. Please do not pass any erected barricades. They are there for your safety. The five minutes you save on your commute are not worth your life.
